Magnetic Jewelry
Two Methods of Measuring for Ring Size. Please read tips before beginning.
|

HOW TO MEASURE YOUR
RING SIZE:
Method One:
Rap a strip of
paper around your finger. Mark the spot where the paper meets the other
end. Measure the strip of
paper up to the spot you marked when it was
wrapped around your finger with a ruler or tape measure. Use the
chart
below to get your ring size. Example: a size 10 equals 2 7/16 in. or
61.9mm. After calculating please us US
measurements.

Method Two:
In order to print the ring sizer above, be sure that your printer
is set to 100%. Make sure that you have not reduced the print size in your
printer 'page setup' area. You can verify that the sizer printed correctly by
measuring it with a ruler; it should measure from A to B: 3 1/2 inches long. Click here and print.
Once you have printed the sizer, follow these directions to find your
ring size:
- Cut out the ring sizer
- Cut a slit for Slot "A"
- With the numbers facing out, wrap the sizer around the finger where the ring will be worn.
- Pull the pointed end Tab "B" through Slot "A" until the sizer is snug, making sure to allow size for the knuckle.
- The number aligned with Slot "B" is your ring size.
- If the measure lands between two
numbers your size is a half size Ex: Between 5 and 6 ring size: 5.5. If
half sizes are not available, order the next largest size.
Tips For Measuring Ring Size
Here are some tips to make your ring size measurement more accurate:
Prior to printing, ensure that page scaling is set to "none" on your print dialog box.
- Confirm the printed paper size with a ruler.
- Pull tightly. The sizer must fit snugly to produce an accurate size.
- Don't measure cold fingers. This is when fingers are their smallest.
- For the most accurate reading, measure your finger at the end of the day when it is largest.
- If your knuckle is a lot bigger than the base of your finger, measure both and choose a size in between the two.
